Would have been good to have a shower in bathroom or even mixer taps with attachment

Set in a very quiet location so ideal if your wanting to escape from a busy working life environment. Despite its location it is ideally located to all the Cotswold attractions. Maria who owns the property is the ideal hostess and allowed us full use of her extensive garden. I would certainly go back.

We LOVED our stay at the hunting lodge. What a gorgeous, quirky place to stay. Beautifully decorated - luxurious but still homely, I think it's the nicest place we've ever stayed. The pictures don't do justice to the amazing decorations. Nicely tucked away amidst beautiful Cotswolds scenery but only a pleasant half hour walk to buzzy bourton-on-the-water. Despite the single beds, we couldn't recommend the place more. So romantic and cosy!

Owner was lovely, cottage was more than lovely, grounds with lake, superb. Quiet & peaceful location. It's a very romantic place to spend the weekend. I would only say that it would've been better if there was a double bed opposed to two singles connected & there was a shower but don't let that put you off it's well worth the visit
