A truely unique holiday ’cottage’ set in a small village with excellent access to Worchestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire.

Romers Farm consists of two semi-detached properties situated in the owner’s grounds on a working farm, in the village of Bockleton, near to the historic market town of Tenbury Wells. The former Hop Kiln and Wainhouse have been sympathetically converted, retaining many original features, and provide two spacious and comfortable holiday properties. This is an excellent base from which to explore Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire with a wealth of activities. A short drive takes you to Ludlow, famous for its castle, festivals, quaint streets, shops and open markets; it also has an abundance of restaurants and eateries for fine dining, some Michelin starred, and it is a definite must for a visit. The area boasts an abundance of National Trust properties including Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, Hampton Court Gardens and the Brockhampton Estate, all within easy driving distance. Enjoy a day out to the cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester and the abbey at Tewkesbury. For the more active there is golf, horse riding and carp fishing available locally. Offa’s Dyke and the Malvern Hills, for serious walkers, are within easy reach. Book lovers can enjoy a trip to the renowned book town of Hay-on-Wye whilst theatre lovers can venture out to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, and the home of Anne Hathaway with her beautiful cottage. Perhaps you would prefer to sit and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the unspoilt countryside and woodlands close by, or observe the activities on this working farm. Whatever you choose to do, one holiday may not be enough! Shops, pubs and restaurants 4 miles. NB: Properties 25341 and 25340 can be booked together to accommodate up to 18 guests.

Ground floor: Living room with patio doors and beams/dining room with beams/kitchen. Second living room. Separate toilet. First floor: 4 bedrooms with Velux: 1 double with en-suite shower room with toilet, 3 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture.

Both properties: Oil central heating included (£35per week, £5 per night October-April). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot. High chair. Two digital TVs. DVD and small library. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Wi-fi. Ample parking. One dog welcome (working farm). No smoking.

    a lovely cottage, very friendly owners good if you like to be right in the country . The owners don't mind if you want to go for a stroll on the farm . The cottage was first class with all aminitys that you could wish for top class

    Really lovely cottage in a lovely location. One of the rooms is a mezzanine which wasn't clear from the booking but it was comfortable and clean so not a problem.

    We visited the area for a family wedding. The location was perfect in everyway. We would recommend this property to any visitor to the area

    Property was comfortable & spacious. Difficult to locate because of wrong signage outside property. Property was very cold upon arrival as no heating had been put on & instructions regarding heating & appliances needs to be easier to locate. Once settled in & the heating had been on for a few hours we were warm & comfortable, but not the best way to start a short break.
