More information on arrival regards parking, use of equipment, disposal of refuse etc would have been most appreciated. The crockery being in the bottom cupboard is not very good idea for people with mobility or back problems

We thoroughly enjoyed spending new year in this lovely, cosy & comfortable cottage. The heating was on for our arrival & there was a very generous welcome pack which was gratefully received. The cottage is in a beautiful setting within a lovely estate with a coffee shop on site which is open 7 days a week. Coldstream is approx a 20 minute easy walk away. Would love to return again & can highly recommend. Only very slight negative was the tv was a bit too small with poor sound quality.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage for 4 nights. Everything you could need is provided including logs for the woodburner. There were supplies of tea/coffee/sugar/milk, bread, butter and even some lovely chocolate biscuits and a pot of jam. Its all beautifully furnished and decorated. The bed is super king sized and the only thing we didn't like about it was the plastic mattress protector, we found it noisy and rather hot to sleep on.

Enjoyed our time visiting local castles and walking. The wild life on the lake are interesting to watch. It helps having a nice tea room 20paces away if you don't fell like cooking.
