Lovely little cottage in a near perfect location . Very quiet and great private patio at the rear with lovely views . Lots of good dog walks without having to get in the car.

Great location lovely bedroom area. Kitchen well equipped and thank you for the welcome pack. Only thing no local shop for bits we might need and no details in the barn about where we could get items locally.

Morwenstow is a fabulous location to go on coastal path walks and a quiet place if you just want a few days peace away from it all.

A week wasn't long enough. Food at pub delicious (book always busy). Cottage lovely. Perfect for us and our dogs. Don't want to moan because we didn't want to come home but mattress really needs replacing x

The Hideaway is perfect for a holiday with dogs as they are welcome in the cottage and at the Bush Inn. Bush Inn staff are friendly and the food is excellent for the money. Nearby are the Rectory tea rooms where the cream teas are wonderful. We have stayed at the Hideaway for four summer holidays and totally recommend it. It is near to the rocky coast and only a short drive from the fantastic Sandymouth Beach.

This place is in a stunning location, the bush inn nearby serves great food in a friendly atmosphere. Very cosy. As well as the award winning rectory farm tea rooms nearby, I would reccomend a visit there. The views from the hideaway really are lovely, especially from the bath. I would only reccomend that it is given some tlc and a new bed, unfortunately we barely slept due to the noise of the bed every time one of you turned over, one of the springs would go and the metal bed would make a loud noise. We also had to defrost the freezer as it was iced up so much the door wouldn't close (also broken) You may struggle for space with two larger dogs. We had two shih tzus.

Lovely short stay at the Hideaway - great location on the coastal path and lovely pub a stone's throw away. Cute little cottage with a stunning view. Only small gripe is the bed/mattress could definitely do with updating but fine for a short stay.

Great location and such a peaceful part of the world! Pub 🍻 next door and the food was fab! Rectory tea rooms worth a visit for large cream teas 👍🏻 some really great walks right from the door step along the National Trust south coast path! The Sausage sizzle beach barbecue Thursdays 11am on Duck Pool beach well worth the hike to! Only a small negative was the patios were in need of some tlc but that didn't stop us from enjoying the sunsets every night with a cheeky bottle of vino 😉
