A very nice stay, with everything that you need. The owners couldn't do enough for you.

A lovely place to stay in an excellent location. Owners are also very friendly and helpful. Two observations: 1. I would be cautious about booking if you find stairs or uneven surfaces an issue - this is an old cottage with character but that has implication for the elderly. 2. We were shocked by out electricity bill - £19 for a week in the middle of a hot summer with no heating required. I dread to think how much it would have been in winter or a cold spell.

We had a lovely weekend stay at the Green Farm cottage. Lovely cottage, rooms were all perfect. Great location for walks etc, nice pub only 5 mins walk. Everything catered to our needs, enough logs for the fire, all kitchen utensils supplied. We forgot to bring matches, so it was great that the owners had left some. Friendly owners showed us around. Nice bottle of red wine on arrival. We will definitely be coming back again.

A fantastic, historic building. The house is very spacious, full of oak beams and period fittings and furniture. The house was spotlessly clean and essential basics such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen towel, soap and toilet roll were provided. There was also a much appreciated welcome gift of milk, biscuits and wine. The owners received us and were friendly and helpful. The house is heated by storage heaters (and an optional open fire). Be prepared for the electricity bill at the end of the stay: ours was around £35 for a fairly mild October week when we were out every day. A super place to stay and plenty to see nearby.
