A great cottage and a great size. The owner made us feel very welcome. Lovely pub nearby and some nice countryside walks. Would visit again when looking to relax.

The family - grandparents, parents and two grand children - aged 6 and eight - spent Christmas 2017 at Granary Cottage. We have stayed at Granary Cottage before and returned for Christmas because the cottage is ideal for a family gathering. It is warm and cosy - very important in the winter - with plenty of room upstairs and down with a spacious lounge and large substantial dining room table for family meals. The cottage was decorated for Christmas - plus a welcome pack which included a bottle of wine, a Christmas cake and chocolates. Local walks around the village are most interesting and the local pub in very welcoming. We didn't venture further afield this time, except for shopping, as Christmas occupied most of our time. The children enjoyed seeing the animals on the farm and feeding the horses. We had a most enjoyable Christmas with the added bonus of 8cm of snow, which for children who normally live in a tropical country was a delightful surprise.

Shared with friends and we all enjoyed our break. Lovely countryside and easy to explore the wider area, being just off the A49. Very quiet location, very good for unwinding.

Real home from home! Delicious cake and other goodies for us on arrival and always someone on hand for any questions or problems. Decor was brilliant..much attention to detail with many personal touches and good quality cooking equipment. Beds were comfortable and the views from the windows over the farm yard and fields was relaxing. Best roast dinner ever from the pub up the road and close to both Hereford and Ross-on-Wye. Plenty of local walks around too. Our party of six adults, one baby and a dog had a great time!

Top quality cottage, well appointed and very clean. The location is slightly remote but no real problem. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this cottage and will probably return.

Wonderful setting, with lovely people, we were made very welcome and enjoyed every minute of our stay in this very nice granary conversion. It was lovely to find the cake and juice on arrival. We were comfortable, in minutes of good shops in Hereford, and in a very good place to explore the area. We are already planning to come back next year.

We have stayed at Granary Cottage before. On both visits we have found the cottage to be very clean, very tidy and above all very cosy. The hosts Kate & John make you feel very welcome and always on hand to answer any questions. The location is great being central for visits to Symonds Yat, Forest of Dean, Hereford and Monmouth amongst others. We would certainly recommend this cottage.

Never disssapointed in my bookings. The Granary was well equipped with the essentials. The owners all at hand and very friendly and knocked occasionally to make sure we were all right and offerd washing facilities as we had a very young baby grandchild with us. Excellent cake provided for our arrival. Parking not really a problem as we had use of the farm yard area as well when we had an unexpected visitor and their family. We even had Tesco deliver our orderthe same day of our arrival which helped. advice if you are going to use them Quote Little Birch Castle Nibole not the Granary they are well use to deliveries here.Plenty of information to hand countless DVDs'. All in all a good break weather was fine as well so we out and about every day.
