We spent a most enjoyable week at The Granary over Christmas 2015 - grandparents, parents and two grandchildren, plus our daughter for a couple of days. The cottage was warm and cosy; well equipped and there was a Christmas cake and other treats awaiting our arrival - plus a lovely Christmas tree and decorations. We would recommend The Granary to any family or group looking for a holiday in a spacious well equipped cottage in a countryside location with a warm and friendly welcome.

What a fantastic cottage...a real gem! The place is beautiful and so clean. The owner was lovely and helpful. Its ideally based and Ledbury is well worth a visit. We all had a fantastic time and cant wait to go back. I wanted somewhere special for a family weekend and this was definitely it. Thank you

Good property in a nice quiet location just 20 minutes from Hereford. Owners very friendly and obliging. Drive space a little tight for two cars but was not a major issue. We did miss the washing machine and would have preferred that to a dishwasher but we did know the facilities when we made the booking. Would make us think again next time especially as there were 6 of us inc 2 children. Cottage was well appointed, cosy and very warm.

    Response from: administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; We are sorry these guests found the parking a little tight, however we do have a large farmyard at the back of the cottage and we always give guests the choice to park there if they wish. In the past three large 4x4's have managed to squeeze in at the front of the cottage, similarly we have had guests with only one car, park at the back it is entirely up to the individual. With regard to a lack of a washing machine, we are very aware, that particularly groups with children look to this as an important requirement. Therefore I am happy to wash and dry anything, this is offered in the guest information book in the cottage and I am always delighted to help in anyway I can.

We found Granary Cottage to be very comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped for self catering and there is plenty of comfortable seating for the evenings. The maps and walking guides were very helpful and we found the location to be very convenient for visiting local places of interest. There is certainly plenty to do in the area. If it rains the books, games and DVDs will come in handy too. Thanks very much for the cake and apple juice! We thought it was very good value for money.

I speak for myself and my associates that stayed at the Granary Cottage in the summer. The accommodation was perfect for us. The rooms were spacious and clean and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. Our hosts were really accommodating and if available we would without doubt stay there again.

Lovely Cottage, owners very helpful. Very well equipped, every thing we needed was available in cottage. Only one small point. Bathroom could do with proper shower over bath so that ladies could wash their hair.

Lovely cottage with plenty of space. Very well equipped kitchen (including sharp knives that are actually sharp - a rarity in holiday cottages!). Owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming, letting the children play in their own large garden and paddock. There were plenty of things to do within half an hour's drive. Our highlights were Puzzlewood, Hampton Court Castle and the Butterfly Farm. A beautiful part of the country we will definitely be revisiting.

This was the second time we stayed at this cottage and it didn't fail to delight. The owner is very thoughtful and concerned about the comfort and enjoyment of her customers. Everything had been provided with their comfort in mind including cake and juice on our arrival! The cottage is warm and cosy but large enough for our party of 7 including the dog. Their are plenty of local walks and the patio was a real Suntrap. We were surrounded by beautiful views but were still only a few miles from Hereford for convenience shopping. All in all I can't recommend the cottage any more highly.
