It is a really nice, modern cottage, very clean, stylish, cosy, comfortable. Quality fixtures and fittings. My husband and I stayed with our4 yr old grandson for 3 nights during his Feb half term. It served its purpose for us and we thoroughly enjoyed being there even though the weather not great. We had a trip to Harlow Carr and a trip 8nto Harrogate- both easy and handy. We’re glad we went but we’d be unlikely to stay there again mainly due to the parking arrangements - very tricky for our particular circumstances. The road by the cottage is very narrow so for loading and unloading purposes, it is a very laborious operation - especially if the bin men arrive , which they did on one occasion so I had to suspend . operations in order to move the car. Not peaceful during the daytime due to proximity of A61. However nighttime’s were fine- quiet.

Couldn't fault the cottage. Quality fixtures and fittings. Good location to explore Harrogate and surrounding areas. down side, constant traffic noise, no private space to sit outside.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments. We really do value guest feedback. We are really glad you enjoyed the cottage. Although near to a road, the proximity does make it very convenient for using public transport to travel to Harrogate and beyond. A table and chairs are stored in the hallway cupboard for guests use, but due to the layout of the courtyard it is unfortunately not possible to offer an enclosed, private seating area. We hope to welcome you back again in the future.

We found the cottage clean and very comfortable with equipped with everything you could need for a good holiday. It's a bit tricky to find down a small road opposite the BMW dealership, we found for getting into Harrowgate the No 36 bus takes you into town with no parking worries, a great service and right outside your door. It's a great location there are 2 service stations and a Co op next to the train station there is no pub in the village but some good pubs for eating within an easy drive. Our only concern was the A61 is quite busy and can be a bit noisy at night with trucks using it, we are very light sleepers so most people maybe wouldn't notice it, that's the only reason it was 8 / 10. otherwise it was great.

A beautiful cottage, everything you would wish for was there, immaculately kept with linen and towels of top hotel quality. Furnishings were top quality too and so was a lovely place to just relax in. Excellent location with a train station within walking distance with regular trains to Harrogate, York and Leeds. Harewood House just minutes away by car too. An ideal base for either a short break or a long holiday
