Situated in a quiet, rural location and just 4 miles from the historic town of Launceston and 2 miles from the A30 making touring this glorious area a breeze. Shop 4 miles, pub 2 miles.

    No mobile reception, no satellite tv and no WiFi.... absolutely loved it, who needs all that when you are trying to chill out, we both have busy London lives at work and we wanted to get away from that and did that happen, you bet it did.... we even had the use of a doggy tag with the phone number and home address supplied for our use.... we will be coming back to The Granary.....

    A lovely property, spacious and warm, very well equipped. Weather pretty dire so difficult to comment on the location except that it was only a minutes drive from the A30 while being sufficiently isolated to be beautifully quiet. I think it would be a very pleasant spot in more clement circumstances. We did have a problem with the electric hob, which was far too complicated, and there were no instructions. However the owners were very good and responded to our cri de coeur very promptly and went out of their way to be helpful in every way, which we much appreciated. In the end we didn't take the dog but it is great that it was possible at no extra cost.

We are however sorry that you had trouble working with the touch control electric hob. In addition to the manufacturer’s instruction booklet that was in the house instructions, my wife has now added a further simplified step by step instruction guide to its use.
