The Granary is located in a lovely quiet country setting, the drive to the property is along a narrow country lane that is hilly. Within the grounds is a wood to explore alongside a dam that has fish, also a stunning walled garden with an abundance of flowers and vegetables to look at. There is plenty of outside seating with tables. The Granary itself is very cosy & furnished very well inside. The kitchen is very well equipped & I found the hob very easy to use & it does have a child proof lock. The double bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable, although the twin beds mattresses are not quite so comfortable according to the friend who came too. Sarah & Colin are very helpful & perfect hosts,it was very lovely to find a cream tea awaiting us along with fresh milk & beautiful eggs from their chickens. There is no shortage of places to visit especially if you are NT members & a visit to The Lost Gardens of Heligan are not to be missed. Would definitely go back.

Lovely holiday accommodation, really generously equipped and a great place to stay with kids when you're trying to escape the WiFi/computer games and spend time together, as there is a games room with pool table and table tennis which is just a few steps from the cottage door. Very helpful owners. Highly recommended.

Great time at the cottage, comfortable and warm. Beautiful grounds, with lake and a wood to walk through. Very relaxing with no internet or mobile phone signal. A true unplugged holiday. Brilliant.

Response on behalf of the owner; We are delighted that you had such a great time at the Granary. However for visitors that need to stay in contact we do get a 4G mobile signal from the EE mast and a lesser signal from other carriers but you can always switch your mobile off.

Our second time at the Granary, but definitely not our last. A relaxing place if you want to get away from it all. The cottage is even better than the last time we were there. The owners are always very discreet and pleasant, making your stay the most nice experience. Thank you for your great hospitality, you are our No 1 choice when we need to relax.
