Located in the village of Carhampton, just outside Minehead, The Granary is a semi-detached holiday cottage, ideally positioned for those wanting to explore and enjoy this versatile area. The cottage is presented to a very good standard and benefits from a good size living space and a lawned garden. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathrom and there is a woodburner in the living room. The cottage is within walking distance of the local pub and shop, and makes an ideal base from which to get out and about as well as being a welcome retreat after a busy day sightseeing. There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland on Exmoor, and many places to visit to make a memorable holiday. Enjoy the Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the Watersmeet Gorge (NT), Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. Looking towards Minehead, there is the promenade to enjoy a walk along whilst eating an ice cream and which also has a good array of shops and other amenities. The renowned West Somerset Railway is worth a visit to enjoy a ride on one of their impressive steam engines. A trip to the enchanting medieval Dunster Castle (NT) and village, with its beautiful terraced gardens, deer park and mill, will also make for an interesting day out. There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor and there are some lovely walks from the cottage through Dunster Castle deer park and into the surrounding countryside. Beach 2 miles. Shop 200 yards, pub 500 yards.

2 steps to entrance. Ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen with beams. Conservatory. Separate toilet. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 2 double, one with en-suite bathroom and toilet, 1 twin. Shower room with toilet.

Woodburner in living room (initial fuel included). Oil central heating included (£25per week, £15 per short break October). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Freezer. Wi-fi. Large lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. NB: 2 steps in garden.

    The Granary was everything we could have realistically hoped for. A warm welcome from Sandra to what was a spotless house with all the essentials and many extras. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a pleasant garden to relax in or for the children to play. Its location was excellent being close to Dunster, Minehead etc and with easy access to glorious Exmoor and the North Somerset and Devon coasts. Highly recommended.

    Great cottage, really comfy and spotlessly clean. Really good location for a family holiday, lots on offer nearby to do with our toddler. We'd definitely recommend and we'd love to come back

    Very clean. Well equipped and presented cottage. Only real problem was getting hot water to flow in bath - not a problem for adults as shower available. However to bathe young child meant quickest way was to carry water from downstairs up to bathroom - good exercise if tedious!

    We could not have been happier with the granary when we arrived. It was spotless, with more than enough living space for our family of 5 for a week. Would highly recommend!.

    Superb cottage with everything we needed. Absolutely spotlessly clean and we were made very welcome. Location is really good with beaches and things for children right near by. We only ever had to travel five minutes in the car to do something fun
