A stunning, cosy cottage in the most fantastic location to explore Hull, York, Bridlington, Flamborough Head to name a few. We could not have been made to feel more welcome by Mrs. Macleod - thank you for a fantastic time!

Cottage was in a lovely quiet location. Extremely clean with attention to detail, all furnishings were high quality. The owner had provided all necessary equipment to ensure a comfortable stay at the Granary. We would recommend this cottage to family and friends.

The cottage in its settings is amazing, we had a lovely fish and chip supper in the village down the road. everything about the cottage is fantastic, so modern and very relaxing. The little touches made all the difference such as a pair of binoculars hanging by the back door. We will be

A simply fantastic conversion with every possible home comfort thoroughly thought of. The luxurious bath, the shower with side jets and the modern well planned kitchen, living and dining area combined were a pleasure to stay in. The location is peaceful and with the duck pond adjacent to the Granary, setting the scene for a most relaxing holiday. The approach to the Granary should also get a mention as with the long driveway from the country road it feels both secluded and grand at the same time. Our hosts Phillipa and Jeremy were both extremely helpful and welcoming offering information on local amenities and places of interest to visit, of which there are many to suit all ages.

Back from a fantastic week away at The Granary. We were made to feel very welcome. We used it as a great base to visit Hull and all of the other local attractions. Can't praise enough!

Lovely quiet and secure accommodation with a friendly, helpful host. Very well equipped. Have no hesitation in recommending to others. It was lovely hearing the barn owl at night. My only negative, which is just my opinion, is that the 2nd bedroom would've worked better as a single as it's quite small unless being used by two young children. Lots of coastal spots to explore including Whitby, Ravenscar and Flamborough but there are also local beaches within a shorter drive such as Mappleton. Also within driving distance of Beverley, York and the North Yorkshire Moors. Hull, approximately 30 mins drive, is worth a one day trip for the museums, in particular, The Streetlife and William Willberforce Museums in the Old Town.
