I couldn't have asked for nicer, more helpful hosts and a warmer welcome. The village setting is wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed walking nearby. The only down side was that once we were there we needed to drive to do any marketing. Otherwise, this is a great cottage and location.

Probably one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Really well equipped, warm and cosy. Perfect for a winter break but would like to explore the area during the summer.

Local amenities: none in the (very small) village - but we didn't want any. There is a pub, but it was closed - due to illness - when we were there. Plenty of supermarkets, pubs and restaurants etc. a little further afield. Plenty of things to see and do in the area.

Beautiful cottage, one of the best we've stayed in. It was a clean as a whistle. All furniture and fittings the highest quality. Owners very friendly too. Lovely welcome pack of wine, fruit, milk, juice, plum loaf, loads of stuff. The village is very quiet, no pub or shop, but lots to do near by, historic houses and gardens etc. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely place to stay, owners very welcoming and accommodation was very clean and contained everything we wanted. Even a dog proof garden ! No village shop so a drive out is necessary but we would love to return sometime. We enjoyed our stay so many thanks. Linda.

Quite peaceful location, superb cottage, local pub, everything we wanted for a relaxing, de-stressing holiday. Wifi in cottage but limited mobile phone coverage. A cottage we will certainly return to.
