The cottage was lovely and cosy and we enjoyed our stay there very much. However, the directions to the cottage weren't very precise and we also didn't have the name of the B & B next door so it took us alittle time to find the cottage. Still, once we did find the place, we were able to let ourselves in as the key had been left in the front door. The B & B owner had kindly baked a loaf of bread for us, laid the open fire for us and also put butter and milk in the fridge for us. The owner was very friendly when we met her and gave us a very warm welcome. We enjoyed the experience very much as this was the first time we had rented a cottage rather than stay at a B & B or hotel. We will definitely do it again.

Quite a long walk into the town and no street lighting along a very busy road for quite a distance.

The house is badly in need of a lick of paint outside, it's quite a depressing sight to drive up to. Inside needs updating, the sitting room furniture is worn out and the carpet in the bathroom is a bit horrible. But the beds are very comfortable. The overall feel is a bit grotty which is why I wouldn't stay again. The owner is friendly and helpful, the homemade bread on arrival was delicious. But I was very annoyed to be asked for €15 for electricity as we were packing up the car to head home. Maybe this is in the tiny print somewhere on the website but my invoice certainly doesn't mention that further charges can be payable, and I didn't appreciate the ambush.

The cottage was a good size and well appointed. It was excellent as a base for pottering about on foot and in the car. 15 minutes walk from town with plenty of shops and cafes etc. The owner was on site and happy to help or deal with any difficulties.
