We only stayed in the property for one hour as I had an urgent call to return home. This review therefore is based solely on first impressions. The house was quite remote. The windows were rather dirty which was more noticeable due to the striking views from some windows. I found the interior to be rather gloomy. The furniture (sofas and chairs) was rather uncomfortable and well worn and totally unsuitable for people with limited or restricted mobility e.g. My elderly mother could only have sat on a dining chair due to the very low and lumpy furniture. The bedrooms were gloomy. We were disappointed to note that access was not until 5pm which would make finding the property in winter time extremely difficult due to its remoteness. We only found this out on receipt of key instructions at the same time as finding out that heating would be charged for from 1st October. Information that could influence the decision to book the property.

The double beds are very small in sunken mattresses are awful the sleep on. The property looks like it hasn't had any money spent on it in 30 years. There's bats dying in the log burning fire. No black bin at the property makes things difficult when you have dogs. And all the pictures of nude children are very inappropriate. The kitchen was poorly equiped. I found myself weeding as the garden was a mess. There was an axe left out which was dangerous for the children.we couldnt all sit and watch a film at the end of a tiring day because its tooked in the window sil and the sofas are just as uncomfy as the beds...we couldn't rest!....we left two days ealy in favour of a comfy bed! It was far too expensive....we were all very disappointed..
