Fantastic little cottage in a lovely location. Excellent for dogs and very quiet. Very friendly host and lots to do all within easy reach

We generally had a lovely time but had to mark down on some areas. The comfort within the lounge area was minimal as the chairs are pretty old fashioned and a little uncomfortable, whilst watching movies we couldn't really "lounge". The kitchen facilities were great. The decor in the bedroom was nice, like a cabin type space but the rest of the apartment needs some modern TLC. The shower was very weak so washingle long hair was a real task! The location was lovely and very quiet however, not in walking distance to any pubs or shops. We do like to have a wander for dinner to local pubs and then back again, which we couldn't do. The garden was great and in the summer I am sure this would have made up for the lack of local public houses as we could have sit out and enjoyed a relaxing garden day! However it was winter and too cold for that! The owner was lovely and very helpful which was appreciated.

Great location. Warm welcome. For us the bed was too soft and the shower flow is very weak. Could do with a little tlc. Having said that we had a good stay here and thought it was good value. Cracking countryside round about.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; I’m really sorry to hear of the problems with cleaning. I know it may be awkward when on holiday to mention these things, but it’s very difficult to for me to follow up several weeks later and find out exactly what went wrong and put it right for the future. Even a message to the Agents suggesting I look immediately after you’ve left would be really helpful. It sounds as if something went badly wrong here, I do apologise.
