We needed somewhere to stay as we were attending a family wedding. Although it is in a somewhat remote position the stay was absolutely ideal an you get used to the remoteness and narrow country lanes. Larger towns are not far away from this idyllic spot and the hosts are very nice people.

We've just returned from a week in the Garden Flat in Kenley, Shropshire. The cottage was, warm, comfortable and felt like home. Sue and Mike, the owners, gave us a very warm welcome and there was nothing too much trouble for them. Sue's home baked scones and cakes, which she left for us, were delicious and the garden was delightful at this time of the year, full of Spring flowers and having beautiful views over adjoining farmland. There were lots of places to visit from the cottage, Shrewsbury an old Mediaeval town was a short distance away, with attractive river walks, museums, churches and a good shopping area. The Ironbridge gorge was another attraction and we visited the Museum of Iron and learned about the birth of the Iron industry. Lots of places to eat there and pleasant walks in the area. For keen walkers the paths were endless, Wenlock Edge was close and the hills and moors of Shropshire were easily accessed. We would certainly recommend this cottage and we would hope to make a return visit in the future.
