The property has a pool table, shared use of tennis courts, stabling facilities and catering can be provided for guests (arranged direct with the owner). This perfect location is approximately 9 miles south of Ashbourne, convenient for visiting the potteries and Alton Towers Theme Park. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Ground floor: Living room with French doors/dining room/kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double with additional single and en-suite wet room with toilet, 1 twin with en-suite shower room and toilet. Open tread stairs to first floor: 5 bedrooms: 4 double, one with additional single, three with en-suite bathroom and toilet, one with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin with en-suite bathroom and toilet. 2 folding beds.

    Stayed at The Forge over Christmas with our extended family ( coming from, Cyprus, London, Surrey & Stockport) 12 adults & 6 children (under 7year.) Lovely, well equipped, spacious property, ideal for all the family needs. each bedroom was en suite, the kitchen was really well equipped for feeding 18 people. Ground were lovely, and we had some nice trips out to Sudbury, Ashbourne & Uttoxeter. Vernon Arms in Sudbury a must, good food , excellent hot chocolate and a warm, friendly welcoming landlord.

    Warm and loads of hot water. Very clean. Beautiful rural surroundings. Lots of places to go and something to interest everybody. A car is essential to make the most of the holiday.
