We all had a fantastic time. The house was amazing, the children loved playing hide and seek and having a go on the piano. They even managed to get outside and play in the garden, we were very lucky with the weather. Everything we required was available in the cottage. We would definately come back again. The only downside for us were the beds were a little too soft, but that's just personal taste.

It's with great pleasure that I am so happy to tell others that for our 1 week over the Christmas period for my special birthday on Christmas day, it could not have been better for my 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Greeted by Christmas decorations, provided by a very good housekeeper. Everyone had a comfortable bedroom, the house was lovely and warm with extra comfort with a wood burner in the lounge. We had much fun celebrating birthday and Christmas. The kitchen was very well stocked in fact, I ended up thinking I owned the house, it was home from home with 2 ovens, 2 fridge/freezers and 2 kettles to cater for 14 people. Walks around the lakes overlooking the river, I had no complaints whatsoever. 1 mile away a lovely pub with food. This was a winter vacation but I am sure if you love walking, fishing or boating you would also enjoy a Summer holiday.

Had a fab time staying at this cottage for my husbands 65th birthday in December .Our group was made up of 10 adults 3 children and a dog. The house is very spacious and with 5 shower rooms (4 ensuite) we all had our own space . We had 34 for afternoon tea on Saturday and was suprised at how many glasses plates etc were supplied by the owners . Everyone commented on how nice the and how well it was laid out. We would defiantly return to the house hopefully in the summer to get the advantage of the garden and the lovely walks . The birds in the garden were lovely to watch even in the winter month . A very satisfied customer .

This is an ideal property for a mixed group of friends - plenty of space and a good combination of rooms, especially as three have en-suite bathrooms! Limited local facilities but we enjoyed direct access to the riverside footpaths and the nearby Malvern Hills were fantastic.

The Ferrymans Cottage exceeded our expectations. The property has two extra en suite bathrooms to the three advertised. The property had wifi and Sky tv again not advertised. The property is very clean and very well equipped. Beautiful location overlooking River Severn -with several gates and fences helping to keep children and pets safe from harms way. Landlord was very helpful. All in all a top place to have a country break!

Lovely peaceful place well equipped though dishwasher a bit temperamental! Would recommend as long as you didn't want shops nearby and we did have to travel for some of wildlife parks etc but all worthwhile.
