Fantastic place, the central heating could be a bit stronger as it could be a bit cold at times and the beds could have a better mattress. Apart from this I would not hesitate to stay st the deck house again!! Don’t let the heating or comment concerning the mattress stop you booking the deck house! Great property and location!!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. Following our subsequent contact we confirmed that the heating issue was the temporary loss of 1 of the 3 radiators in the living room, due to a slight water leak that caused a problem for you. This has now been remedied. If you had let us know, we could easily have provided you with an additional heaters although we did also note that 3 of the radiators were turned off on your departure. Please be assured, this is a newly developed property with excellent insulation so is usually very cosy.

My husband and I spent a very enjoyable week at The Deck House. It is very high spec for a rental property. It's very comfortable and is supplied with everything you could wish for on holiday. I wouldn't say it's really suitable for young toddlers but is perfect for older children and adults. The little welcome pack was a nice gesture and to already have basics such as washing powder etc supplied is brilliant. The only negative would be the lack of parking. We knew there was no immediate on the property parking but it was difficult and a worry to find alternative parking. You can purchase a days parking permit for £3.50 from Malcolms the barbers up the high street but this is only for on street parking which is few and far between. There is a car park at the end of Thanet Road but the permits aren't supposed to be used in there. However we were extremely lucky and bumped into a couple of traffic wardens who allowed us to park there but I wouldn't guarantee this to be ok all the time. Except for the lack of parking we had a very enjoyable time. Broadstairs is delightful.

A really nice stay at the Deck House. Our Honeymoon! The only drawback is parking, but we were aware of that when we booked after reading the initial reviews. We were met by the owner who had arranged a welcome pack of goodies. Overall a really nice way to spend a week in Broadstairs.

We had a lovely time at the deck house. Very close to shops, pubs, restaurants and the beach. Parking permits at 3,50 each available at Malcom's on the High Streat if you want to park close by.
