First, I must say the owner of property is friendly and helpful. He provided a welcome basket of bread and butter when we arrived there. The cottage was clean, cosy, comfortable and the kitchen has all the white goods and electric cooker for guests to use. Mobile network signal was bad (hopeless) but wifi was good during our one week stay. We could watch movie, no problem. But the location of this cottage is in farming area several miles away from Wadbridge. B roads to the cottage is just wide enough for one car and there is problem if there is oncoming car; either driver must reverse to find a passing place to let the other car going through. The road is not straight and there are turns so it is dangerous to drive particularly at high speed up to 60 miles per hour which is signposted. I had had two experiences with oncoming cars. After going through B roads, the next challenge was to drive down a sloping downward track for just less than a mile to the cottage. The width of the track is just wide enough for one car and again if there is oncoming car you got stuck and you must reverse backward. If you are an adventurous person and want to test your driving skills, then I would recommend it otherwise I would suggest to find somewhere to avoid these roads and track.

Response on behalf of the Owner; I am glad that you found the cottage to be clean, comfortable and suitably equipped. In general, many roads in Cornwall are narrow and make use of passing spaces. This is one of the attractions of living or holidaying in Cornwall; there are no motorways and life proceeds at a leisurely pace. I am sorry that your choice of holiday location did not match your expectations.

A charming cottage for a relaxing quiet holiday, yet also within easy access of a variety of tourist attractions to please all tastes. The welcome was very friendly and the welcome pack, including a fresh loaf and butter exceptional. An added bonus, no light pollution, the sky becomes mesmorizing with so many stars to see. We had a fantastic holiday and our two dogs loved their morning walks along the lane.
