Description

A large, open-plan, loft style barn conversion for 2, The Dairy is the perfect base for your Cotswold holiday.

Situated in rolling countryside on the borders of Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire, Saintbury Grounds Farm is the perfect location to explore the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Vale of Evesham. Located within 30 acres of farmland near the historic villages of Broadway and Chipping Campden, guests are tucked away from any hustle and bustle whilst the nearest shop, pub and restaurant are all within 2 miles. The three properties are set in newly converted outbuildings close to the owners’ 17th century Cotswold stone farmhouse and combine a character exterior with comfortable, contemporary interiors.
The Dairy (ref 30066) is perfect for either a romantic break or a chic country retreat for two friends. Housed in the old milking parlour across the courtyard from the main house, with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings, it is a light and airy space, offering guests an open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen as well as bedroom area and well-appointed bathroom.
At the rear of the property, guests will find the Byre (ref 30067), the perfect mix of old and new, the Byre is a cosy and characterful two storey stone property housed in converted farm buildings with views across the Cotswold countryside - just right for a relaxing break. Warm and welcoming, this two-storey, one bedroom property for two, has a fully-equipped kitchen, living/dining area and bathroom on the ground floor, and a double bedroom with a 6ft bed and large en-suite bathroom on the first floor. This room boasts stunning views across the garden and open fields beyond, whilst its sunny patio is just the place to relax and unwind. The Byre is the perfect base for keen walkers or those just wanting to enjoy a peaceful country break.
The Hayloft (ref 30068) on the first floor, accommodates up to 4 people and is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends. Calm and relaxing, there are two good-sized bedrooms and a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, perfect for coming together to eat and relax. The balcony brings the outside in and has wonderful views across the neighbouring fields.
All three properties (refs 30066, 30067 and 30068) can be booked together in any combination to accommodate up to 8 guests.
Located at the northern tip of the Cotswolds and just a few miles from the start of the Cotswold Way, guests will find a plethora of footpaths, bridleways and cycle paths stretching straight from the properties, leading through magnificent scenery to some of the prettiest villages the area has to offer. The owners keep a small herd of rare breed sheep and the grounds are a haven for birds and wildlife. Saintbury Grounds Farm is 30 minutes’ drive from Cheltenham Racecourse, an ideal base for racing enthusiasts. There are also a number of golf courses within the immediate area including Broadway, 4 miles, which enjoys wonderful views across the Vale of Evesham. Whether travelling as a couple, family or group of friends, it really is the ideal location for every type of holiday and guest. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Lovely converted barn. Very modern and clean. Decorated in soft mauve tones with nice pictures of modern landscapes. Alison the owner was most helpful. Nothing was too much and she could not have made our stay more comfortable. We would certainly visit again and recommend the property to our friends.

We stayed for a weekend, it was brilliant. Made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We had everything we could possibly need and there are some lovely farm shops a short walk away. You are free to walk around the amazing grounds and see the animals they own. Overall there isn't a single complaint we could make and you really feel as though the cottage is your home. We will most definitely be coming back.

Superb holiday cottage, set up to a high standard, spotlessly clean and all mod cons, all home comforts with the most comfy bed, lovely bath for a good soak and the most amazing shower cubical, you really are spoilt with luxury. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, bread, milk, butter and home grown fruit, cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. Lots of leaflets and info folder about the local area and a good selections of Blu-Ray's and DVDs to enjoy when you just feel like chilling out in the cottage. Everything is thought of so all is ready for you to relax and enjoy your holiday. The farm itself is beautiful with lots of wildlife to see and walks direct to the historical Fleece Pub which is now owned by The National Trust. The owners Alison and Gary are friendly and approachable and happy to help, nothing is to much trouble. We will be returning in the future.
