Description

A stylishly furnished cottage perfect for walking and cycling enthusiasts with trails and the South Downs National Park all accessible.

A very well equipped property set in a large garden . The annexe is ideal for grandparents and is very well equipped. The large screen TV was a nice bonus. There is some road noise from the A32. The only slightly let down was the shower in the ensuit was not working and this only left 6 of us having to use the one other shower in the main bathroom that had a very poor water pressure. The owners representative did try to get this repaired but this took most of the week. However the property is very well equipped for large parties

Lovely house and garden, perfect as the weather was good and the grandchildren and dog enjoyed playing outside with good eating areas outside. They also liked the gym and all the toys and games. Plenty of space for a large group of various ages. Difficult to walk along the busy road to the village with little ones but plenty of things for them to enjoy without travelling too far in the car. The directions do state it's in Doxford so one member had difficulty finding it.

Excellent base to explore the South Downs and within easy drive of Portsmouth harbour. Cottage had good facilities and met all our needs. Need to take care on walk to Droxford as there are no footways.

Lovely house very well equipped, a little noisy next to a main A road but its a great base for visiting Portsmouth, Chichester, Southsea. Garden is great to explore, and made an apple pie from the apples from the garden. Lynn was lovely, made sure we had everything we needed and we were able to contact her with any questions.

Visiting the Beaulieu Autojumble and the Goodwood Revival the Crest had/has a perfect location - just in the middle. The house had good space for our group of 9 persons. A few mecanical problems with the heating and the washer were solved - thank you, Christine -and everybody were happy. Droxford is a very nice village, and the South Downs are beautiful. So, Lynne, don't feel too safe, maybe the Jutes from Denmark will come again!

Wonderful cottage. Plenty of space and well equipped. The only down side is that you can't safely walk to the local village/ pub.
