Great house. For 6 of us we found it very spacious and comfortable. We were a little dessapointed that we couldn't walk into the village for an evening meal, the main road was just too busy and there was no pavement. The children's bedroom was well stocked with toys. My daughter loved the gigantic dolls house! The kitchen too was well maintained and I found all the equipment I needed. All in all a lovely base for our holiday.

An excellent time had by all! The house had everything you could possibly need, feels like a family home rather than a holiday let. Lots of attractions nearby and shops, pubs and restaurants within easy reach. We will definitely be returning!!

Three generations of our family met for birthday celebrations. The house and garden was perfect! Plenty of space for us all in beautiful surroundings. It is a real 'home from home', and that is reflected in the fact that we never thought that something was missing, especially in the kitchen. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise!... There was even a little surprise for our dog! Can't wait to return!

We had a lovely and memorable family holiday at the Crest. The house easily accommodated three couples and three children. The house has a lovely feel to it and we had everything we needed. We spent a good amount of time relaxing in the beautiful garden, and went out on day trips most days, as there is a lot to do in the area. We have all said we would like to go back again in future.

A very well equipped property set in a large garden . The annexe is ideal for grandparents and is very well equipped. The large screen TV was a nice bonus. There is some road noise from the A32. The only slightly let down was the shower in the ensuit was not working and this only left 6 of us having to use the one other shower in the main bathroom that had a very poor water pressure. The owners representative did try to get this repaired but this took most of the week. However the property is very well equipped for large parties

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your fab 9/10 review, it's always great to hear when folks enjoy the house. Regarding the shower, we always rely on guests informing us of 'malfunctions' during their stay so that we can fix it as soon as possible, unfortunately this one was missed. I apologise that this took a few more days than any of us were happy with and hope this did not spoil your time with us.

Lovely house and garden, perfect as the weather was good and the grandchildren and dog enjoyed playing outside with good eating areas outside. They also liked the gym and all the toys and games. Plenty of space for a large group of various ages. Difficult to walk along the busy road to the village with little ones but plenty of things for them to enjoy without travelling too far in the car. The directions do state it's in Doxford so one member had difficulty finding it.
