It was absolutely fantastic and we will definitely be going back soon. Beautiful countryside and footpaths leading from the front door in all directions! Perfect for exploring the surrounding hills.

The approach to the cottage from the parking area was down a grass slope which was awkward when wet, otherwise everything else was great.

Fantastic cottage!nice and secured. I noticed a review before I went talking about the garden not being 100% flat and the stairs being steap.... This is a 300 year old cottage not a purpose built bungalow - I love the character! Great outdoor seating area and garden with another seating area all not over looked and private. We walked for 25 mins and didn't see another person. Very pretty - lots of public footpaths on the door step. I would advise taking food as due to the fantastic rural location the supermarket is about 25 mins away - so plan your food! Cooking facilities good, bed was fantastic. Loved that there was a bath (great for relaxing after a long walk) . Cottage was warm and cosy. We will certainly be back :) couldn't have asked for more !! Oh yes and we forgot our dog lead and it was posted back to us - very kind :)

Directions difficult to follow to get to the cottage. Very peaceful nice and relaxing . We had milk eggs biscuits tea and coffee left for us. The court yard garden very untidy the bench is broken one side . The steps to the cottage have over grown trees .
