Beautiful village location, complete with wood-burning stove, this holiday cottage is close to Padstow, Port Isaac and Tintagel, mythical home of King Arthur.

This detached holiday cottage sits proudly at the head of one of the most beautiful villages on the edge of Bodmin Moor. With its wood-burning stove and galleried bedroom, the cottage is well furnished and has a small sitting out area to the front. Just yards away is the village pub which was a CAMRA pub of the year winner. Close by is the Camel Trail, a cycle and walking trail that runs along a disused railway track through to the market town of Wadebridge and alongside the Camel Estuary to Padstow. Close by are the fishing villages of Padstow, Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series Doc Martin, and Tintagel which is the mythical home of King Arthur. Also within easy reach is the world famous Eden Project. Shop 200 yards, pub 20 yards.

Living room with wood-burning stove. Compact kitchen/dining room. Shower room with toilet. Spiral staircase to beamed galleried bedroom with 5ft bed.

Great cottage in friendly village and very close to local pub. We found the spiral staircase to the sleeping loft quite difficult to negotiate with luggage. There was also no designated parking space at the cottage and we had to park a distance away some nights.

Loved the cottage and the village with lots to do with a little drive. Food and hospitality at the local pub ,The Blisland Inn was excellent . The cottage is very quaint and well equipped but if going for more than 1 week would recommend taking your own bedding as it is only supplied for the first there after you either use the washer/ drier or continue using those supplied . The biggest issue we had was parking it is advertised as "parking for 2 cars " was this in Outer Mongolia !! Having said this we really enjoyed our stay

It's our second time at the cottage and it was as lovely as the first time. I love the mezzanine bedroom above the lounge and the woodburner. The only thing that would help would be some instructions for the washer/dryer and the oven which were a little tricky to operate without it. We loved the pub across the road for its beer selection and the friendly welcome from the locals. The community run shop was fantastic and the view across the valley from our front door was just stunning.

A lovely cottage in a rural location. Loved the cosy fire place and near by pub. Friendly locals and fantastic local beer. Close enough to drive to bodmin and other attractions. Would definitely recommend this cottage and my wife is desperate for us to return in the future!

Lovely little quaint place....very unusual, comfortable and lovely village. Sited well and had everything you needed. Log burner was nice. A bit cold as the rads didnt chuck out that much heat....but warm up in the bedroom area...just take lots of clothes and buy some logs!!! Pub nearby, next door was nice and friendly
