Fantastic cottage. Extremely well equipped, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. The photos don't do it justice, it's like a tardis inside! Don't be put off by lack of private parking. During the week we stayed we didn't have any trouble parking right outside the house. Great place to stay for wildlife lovers, an fantastic choice of wonderful nature reserves within 15 minutes drive, including RSPB Ham Wall. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Cottage to anyone and hope to be back again next year.

Perfect cottage for a family or friends. This is our second stay and we wouldn't hesitate in coming back. Great location for Glastonbury, Wells, Wookey Hole etc. The owner lives next door and couldn't be more helpful.

A wonderful gem of a cottage bigger than it looks with everything you require for a break away set in a lovely village with more amenities than perhaps you would expect. Everyone we met was friendly. An ideal situation for nearby attractions and wonderful countryside to explore. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice home away from home, enjoyed every minute, very friendly landlord, perfect equipped house, the only little improvement could be new matresses for the two single beds, anything else, just perfect, thanks again. Harry and family

Enjoyed a very comfortable week at the Cottage Loaf in July. The cottage is lovely and has everything you need for the perfect holiday. It is situated in Wedmore which is an ideal base to tour around Somerset, being near the coast, Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. If you enjoy walking there are some excellent walks on the Mendip and Quantock hills.

Cottage was perfect mix of old & modern, light and perfectly placed in a beautiful village. The unexpected goodies in the fridge were a nice welcoming gesture. If we had children we would have liked a garden, but the little courtyard was fine for us. Would recommend.

It was a good choice to stay at Wedmore, the cottage loaf cottage was great. Add some off road parking and it would be perfect.

The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and well placed for local attractions. If you wanted a quiter pace of life you could have spend the seeking eating at the local deli and pubs but booking for evening meals is advisable. We had an amazing stay with two very active boys. The wifi was not great but that was a blessing as we talked and played cards. If I was being really picky I would have liked a radio in the kitchen as we all love music and enjoyed playing cards together on the big table. We would happily stay again and had a fabulous week.

Lovely holiday cottage located in the village of Wedmore. Warm welcome from the owner, the milk and jam left for us was a nice touch. Weather was changeable from warm sunshine to hail and rain but the cottage was warm due to the gas central heating. Wedmore is an ideal location for the Levels and other visitor attractions. Parking was a bit of an issue but once the shops had closed parking was easier. On the plus side the public car park was only a ten minute walk away. Will certainly use The Cottage Loaf again if we have another holiday in the area.

Lovely cottage, well equipped, warm and comfortable, excellent location for Cheddar and Glastonbury. Wedmore itself is also very picturesque with some good shops and cafes. The car parking for the cottage is street parking directly in front of the cottage, we struggled on a number of occasions to get a space when we got back to the cottage after a day out and although this is not a problem as you are able to park in the close by free public car park it was a frustration. All the street parking becomes much easier though after 5pm when the shops etc close. However we would not let this stop us staying at the cottage again.
