We enjoyed staying at The Cottage very much,Instow beach just a couple of minutes walk away, ideal for dog walking!.Car parking outside the cottage can be troublesome, but in our experience we always found a space to park in close proximity.Cottage was well equipped and the wi-fi was excellent, which seems to be important in this day and age.We wouldn't re-visit,only because we don't return to places we have already been to.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank-you for your lovely comments, we are delighted that you enjoyed you stay at our Cottage. We were however perplexed as to the very low score you chose to give us which is at odds with the very favourable comments. Our reviews are very important to us and we work hard to give our guests the best possible experience during their stay. This score has knocked our overall score down from 8.9 before your visit to 8.7 now, which has had a very immediate and negative effect.

The location of the Cottage was brilliant, the downfalls was lack of Parking. Despite there being a Car Park locally it was costly and you needed old one pond coins only. The general Parking was VERY close to the front door -which would cause a problem to people with mobility issues or young children in pushchairs .

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner;Thank-you for your comments and we are pleased you loved the location. Our Cottage is extremely close to the sea and as anyone would appreciate all seaside locations in this country invariably have narrow lanes - it is part of the charm of this, and many other coastal locations which many people love, and is something we can do little to change. On the rare occasion that there isn’t a parking space in the lane the additional parking at the Cricket Club is just 100 yards away and is only £5 for a whole day if needed - we do make this very clear on the website, and are sorry you felt disappointed despite the advance notice.

We had a fantastic holiday and this certainly met all our needs. The welcome pack was lovely, the shower was fantastic and the quality of the towels and bed linen was very much appreciated. We expected parking to be tricky but were surprised how challenging it was at times, although there was a pay and display to fall back on. Would certainly recommend and will definitely return. If we were to be very picky the baskets on the front could do with a little attention, but we appreciate it was very hot the week we were there.

A lovely location for couple, young families and accompanying dog. The beach is on the doorstep and is very dog friendly, providing a great way to meet the locals. The nearby deli is excellent, as is the Quay Inn. Try a late afternoon stroll up to the parish church; the views from the hill are terrific.

Great cottage in a great location. Even managed to park right outside and didn't move the car for the 4 days we were there as there was plenty to do locally. Fab.
