The area was lovely and the cottage was sufficient for what we needed. It was the septic tank smelt really bad all through our stay. We spoke to the owner who was lovely and explained they had issues with stopping the smell/finding out why it smells. Never the less. It’s not nice if all you can smell is the septic tank and had to have windows and door open in the middle of winter. If that wasn’t a issue I would have no problem staying their again but because of that smell, that would put me off.

Very comfortable cottage in a well positioned location for three different counties which felt like home from home.

generally comfortable & airy with good TV/satellite, but the following detracted from our satisfaction - lack of razor point, 3 duff light bulbs, missing shower door handle, dirty oven, small fridge, no freezer, insecure cupboard shelf, some pots & pans past their best and o/s seats missing some slats & tiles.

While cottage essentially very good, disappointed in some aspects: Microwave, toaster, oven needed cleaning; fridge had no bottle shelf in door (broken), handle broken on freezer section; fronts of open pull-out shelves came away when pulled; small table in living room came apart when we moved it. The bathroom smelled of sewage (on a septic tank apparently). Had to connect the dvd player ourselves and no instruction book (found instruction book ( and dust) for tv at back of tv when connecting dvd. Property has so much potential but felt it and its outside space lacked a bit of tlc. Location lovely and surrounding villages very picturesque.
