The cottage was comfortable and warm with everything we needed. We were made welcome by Ruth the owner and our dog was also welcome. There are beautiful walks all around, village shops about a mile away and places to eat out in the same villages. Bedford,Northampton and Milton Keynes are within easy access. I will most certainly book it again.

Had a great stay in Cold Brayfield. The cottage is lovely and even although it is only one bedroom there is plenty of room for three of us. Loads of kitchen equipment is provided and the bed is very comfortable. If you are looking for a peaceful, getaway then this cottage is for you.

Ruth, the owner made us VERY welcome with an understanding she was there if we needed her. Lovely peaceful setting with nature on the doorstep. Next time we would certainly stay longer and benefit from the walks. Plenty information in the cottage.

Unfortunately our break was cut short due to illness which meant we didn't visit the area we wanted to. We feel you should change the wording of the directions to the cottage to read turn right down the bridleway between the house and the farm. The owner of the property was very accommodating and even offered to look after our dog whilst we went to the hospital. The cottage was very comfortable and we will certainly return again in the future to hopefully visit the countryside as previously hoped!

From the moment we arrived everything was great the owner Ruth and her daughter Abbie could not of been more helpful the location is lovely and quiet and there is some very nice pubs locally, The little village store is a bit like Dr Who's Tardis tiny from the outside but has most things you will need, I also recommend the Butcher's as their home made sausages are to die for we stayed in the cottage for 10 days as we were up in the area for the Powerboat racing at Stewartby about 20mins away but well worth the traveling every day we would highly recommend the cottage we will be booking again.

we hired the cottage to give ourselves a close location to silverstone circuit over the weekend of Moto GP motorcycle racing....The weather over the weekend, especially saturday, was very wet and windy.....Coming back to a very comfortable cottage with everything you require was great...we also got a very good nights sleep with the bedroom being totally dark and silent....With the town of Olney only 10 minutes drive there are restaurants and food stores for supplies ....big thumbs up...we would definately stay again and recommend it to friends/family

Perfect in every way. Ideally situated for a quiet break or only a few minutes from large towns. The walk to the river is through a delightful wood and such a beautiful area. Ruth is always available to make sure our stay was as we hoped.

For US A TRUELY LOVELY BREAK. THE MAIN REASON FOR OUR VISIT WAS THAT MY NIECE WAS HAVING HER FIRST BABY. LUCKLY FOR US HE WAS BORN MON 25TH APRIL. FANTASTIC TIMING . WE WILL BE RETURNING HOPEFULLY FOR HIS CHRISTENING. ONLY ONE PROBLEM. WE HAD NO HOT WATER OR CENTRAL HEATING ON FRIDAY 29TH, CHECK OUT DAY.

A superb little cottage in a tranquil setting. A great base for exploring three counties with easy access to the roads. Plenty to see and do with the added hospitality shown by the friendly owners. Having good equipment and a comfortable bed made for a pleasant stay.

I liked the cottage so much that I thought I'd have to be 'evicted' at the end of my week there. I don't want anybody else to discover it!
