The cottage was just perfect for us, 3 couples and 2 children aged 2.5 and 3. Although we did bring one stairgate to close off the gangway to one end of the cottage for overnight safety for one of the children, the other end of the cottage had a door, which we closed.

We were 2 families & a dog, the cottage was ideal for us. Long country walks, a quick pint in the pub next door then home for dinner, a roaring fire & board games. Would definitely recommend to others. The welcome package was a lovely touch & the cooker was a pleasure to use. All in all a brilliant half term holiday.

The cottage was very quirky, we walked round the ground floor twice before we found the upstairs (behind a small door). Be aware that the stairs are VERY steep, narrow & windy - definitely not suitable for those who are not fit & able. Also there are low ceiling beams, so expect some bumped heads. That said, the owners have fully stocked the kitchen & left us a lovely welcome basket with bread, milk etc. The dogs loved the garden & everything in Suffolk was within easy reach. There are masses of dog friendly pubs/inns within 2 or three miles. A lovely location for a lovely county = highly recommended.

This cottage is really a nice place with enough space for a family. We as a family of 5 adults felt immediately as home. Especially the large kitchen and comfortable living room we appreciated in the evening. The piano also was well accepted. It is well equipped and everything was working. So especially for a larger family with older kids (referring to the steep and narrow staircase) this is a really good recommendation.
