My wife and myself had a fantastic long weekend. The owners of the cottage (also the Ram Inn) were really friendly and welcoming. The cottage itself is quaint and warm especially as it had been snowing outside. The Ram Inn also served great food and had a lovely village pub friendliness about it. We will certainly be back.

Loved staying here. We took our two dogs and they loved it too. It has an enclosed garden so perfect for the dogs. Countryside walks on your doorstep, lovely places to visit and a fantastic pub with delicious food and friendly locals all within a minutes walk. Would recommend 100%.

This is a beautiful part of the country and is a must for anyone who enjoys the country views and country walks. The cottage is dog friendly, and most of the public houses are too. The owner also manages the local public house which is dog friendly. He made us feel most welcome and was helpful with advice regarding local amenities and attractions. The village was very much of the stamp that my wife has been seeking for years, and it is a pity that we have found it later in life otherwise I am sure we would have been trying to move to the village.

We only stayed at The Cott for two nights en route to Devon but enjoyed this charming characterful cottage and it's lovely cottage garden. We were fortunate to have good weather while we were there and enjoyed the lovely walking from the door of the cottage.
