Great week at the Coach House, our two dogs loved the woodland and local walks. The cottage was comfortable, spacious and well equipped and we felt we lacked for nothing. Half a dozen fresh eggs, milk and a bottle of wine on arrival were very welcome. We have already booked our next stay.

Lovely cottage. Great location. Supermarkets in area and local shop. Nice walks and the village pub serves good food. Also easy to get into Edinburgh as there is a Park and Ride very close, using the trams. We really enjoyed our week.

Lovely cottage but £50 for 2 dogs bit expensive considering other cottages let dogs go free

Although we only used the Coach house as a base, we thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the peace and quiet, after being out all day! We did spend one day walking around the grounds, which was well worth it! We had good food at the local pub, which was only five minutes away. A brilliant place to stay!

Our 4th stay and we will definitely be back! We love the peaceful location but it's perfect for visiting local attractions and landmarks. The cottage itself is like a home from home, with everything you need. A welcome bottle of wine is in the fridge ready for your arrival along with a bottle of milk. Looking forward to going back as soon as possible.
