These two holiday cottages have been converted from a Grade II listed barn with a sunny, lawned, walled garden where children may play. In a very peaceful location, there is a private, gravelled entrance to the rear as well as the main drive to the owners home. Ilderton is a tiny hamlet with no through traffic on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, with beautiful countryside, splendid walking and a huge variety of birds to observe. Visit many attractions of the Heritage Coast, including Bamburgh Castle, Cheviot Hills, Scottish Borders and magnificent beaches. Wooler 4 miles, coast 15 miles. Golf nearby. Shop and pub 4 miles.

    The cottage was in a stunning location,grounds kept lovely,the interior left alot to be desired.the furniture is tired. basic equipment.The TV was far too small. We found it strange not having a welcome pack(no tea coffee sugar salt biscuits soap or soap powder for washer. The real off putter was the barking dog every night and early morning,which meant we had to keep the bed room windows closed to try to sleep

    shower useless, fell from loose attachment ( not meant to be used as shower ) toaster only for thin sliced bread
