We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coach House. We found it to be very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The owner, was very helpful when I spoke to him to arrange key pick up and ran through information we may have needed. We enjoyed the location, a short drive from the village, it was peaceful with very little passing traffic. Lots of things to see and do in the area. We were fortunate to see the seals at Horsey Gap and also at Happisburgh beach. Also worth a drive out is the East Rushton Vicarage Garden near Stalham, nice little pub The Butchers Arms in the Village there, lovely staff and good home cooked food. We are regular visitors to this part of Norfolk and always have a good time but staying at the Coach House was an added bonus. We very much hope to return next year.

The bedding although clean does need replacing as it has a strong damp and musty smell to it. Didn't spoil our stay though. But needs to be looked at.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. New duvets and pillows have all been replaced early May 2015 and the odour has now been addressed.

Our fourth visit over the last ten years and hopefully our fifth will be sooner rather than later. Such a special place especially the location, privacy and dog friendly. Beautifully furnished and designed, ideal for a large family who want somewhere a little bit special.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Coach House. It was warm and comfortable. In my opionion the bio mass boiler (there isn't a log fire) is completely out of place and would be more suited to a garage than a home, but it kept us warm Last time the bedding had a bad odour to it and duvets needed replacing, this was still noticeable but we went prepared and took our own top sheets and pillows! It is in an area that we love, we can walk to the beach over the dunes and the house is very good for dogs re the brick floors which just need a sweep and a fully enclosed garden which is good for our dog who is an expert on escaping.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. We recently noticed a problem with our washing machine which had caused this issue with the bed sheets. We have now bought a new washing machine and replaced the bed.
