It was disappointing as regards comfortable seating (not enough) cleanliness of crockery and pots and pans and only 1 shower between 8 ( the shower over the bath was non existent)

The cottage was clean, tidy and spacious. From the outside it looked old but well kept and on the inside it was modern with a lovely big kitchen, 6 burner cooker and American fridge/freezer. All 4 bedrooms were large and airy. There were 3 toilets, a shower and a bath. Wifi was provided free of charge. The beach was a 5 minute walk down hill and it was empty on the 2 occasions we went there. Dawlish and teignmouth were a 5 minute drive away. Lovely location and cottage which I'm sure we would go back to.

Lovely cottage, very clean, nice decor, however, for its size it's lacking in shower rooms. We had 8 staying and had to share 1 en suite shower room which is obv inconvenient for all concerned. There is outside space but it's minimal and the cobbled courtyard is very shaded. The private outside space is tiny compared with the size of the accommodation. The sofas are very uncomfortable and there isn't enough seating for all 8 guests if in living room all at once.

Overall the cottage was lovely. Our party of six stayed for a few days around New Years Eve . The location was perfect for what we required - being near the sea, going for walks, access to local pubs. We mostly ate in so the large kitchen was ideal. It was also lovely and warm. There were just a few things that, in no way spoilt our break but might have made a difference if we were staying for longer. There was only one shower and it was in the ensuite. Also our double bedroom didn't have a wardrobe.
