My wife and myself stayed with my son and his young family as central for us to meet as we live in Kent and our son in Cornwall, the property had everything we needed with perfect location for us close to Western super mare /Cheddar /Bath etc, The cottage was very clean and tidy. When we arrived the owner met us and showed us around and was very pleasant and helpful. We could not fault cottage at all. We would recommend this cottage and would certainly stay there again

A beautiful property in a lovely village. The cottage was much more spacious than expected and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The local pubs were great and served delicious food and the takeaway from the Indian restaurant should not be missed. A fantastic place to stay for visiting the area and we would gladly visit again.

Very lovely area. The cottage was cleanish but there were cobwebs everywhere on the beams and beaux Windows. The bedroom and bedding smelt of either a musty smell or wee. We lost a day of our holiday because the owner was in London and could not help us when the door lock jammed. We were made to feel we were an inconvenience and not made to feel welcome to use the facilities by their house as advertised we wouldn't go again.

Comfortable cottage, with all mod cons, and friendly helpful owners next door.

Cleanliness of the property was below standard. Unfortunately we were plagued with flies. The pictures used to advertise the property were obviously taken a long time ago. Expected a lot better standard of furniture for the price paid.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We are really sorry about your experience of “flygate”. That was a strange day, when many of our friends around Wedmore commented about the same thing – I guess it’s an occasional, but extremely rare, risk of visiting our countryside. We take customer satisfaction with our quality standards very seriously, always aspiring to maintain our 9 and 10 ratings. During the winter major refurbishment, and renewal of furnishings, has taken place. We are confident our customers will be delighted. Most importantly, every single photograph on the website has been replaced by a brand new one, just taken. What customers see is exactly what they will get.

This was our first time in Wedbourne and we really enjoyed the village. The cottage was well equipped very clean and we were made to feel very welcome by the owner. Would have liked a downstairs WC but that is a personal choice. The gardens were lovely. Enjoyed our stay.
