This holiday property with 2-acre grounds, retains many original features, but is also equipped with a hot tub and sauna.

Lying peacefully in a secluded location with magnificent views over the rolling countryside, this charming, detached, 18th century former coach house makes a perfect holiday base for families or groups who are looking to explore the rugged mountains and enchanted sites of mid Wales. The restoration has been carried out sensitively to enable the property to retain all of its original attractive features including stone walls and oak beams, plus welcoming touches have been added such as a woodburner to provide a wonderful ambience for cosy nights in. It has been tastefully decorated throughout with oak furnishings, a contemporary-style kitchen and en-suite bathrooms. Outside, guests can relax in their private hot tub and sauna, where they can unwind after spending days out on adventures, whilst watching the red kites and peregrine falcons soar over the magnificent scenery. For a family time together, explore the rugged Cambrian Mountains and discover the ruins of Strata Florida Abbey or visit the Cors Caron Nature Reserve, which offers an abundance of walks amidst flourishing wildlife, including birds of prey, fish and the occasional otter. Just a stone’s throw away, are the charming market towns of Lampeter and Tregaron, both rich with Welsh culture and offering a collection of traditional Welsh pubs, tasteful restaurants and elegant gift shops. A short drive away lays the dramatic Ceredigion coastline, which features the pretty coastal towns of New Quay and Aberaeron, set within their tranquil fishing harbours where bottlenose dolphins can be seen on a clear day. Lovely place to stay, wonderful views, excellent accommodation and lots of games and space for the kids (big and small). Hot tub, sauna and barbecue area were used fully, especially for viewing the wildlife. Ours was a mixed generation party, ages from 14 to 70+ and all had a great time with no complaints. A great place for all, although it does depend on the company ;-)

The house was very good value for money. We had a really enjoyable stay. The living rooms were lovely and kitchen was full of every utensil you could need. Perfect for a group get away. Only cons I think for a house quite so big you need a larger over, the hot tub could be bigger also and although we had our deposit returned it did become a bit off putting to be told quite so many times that it we did x or y we would lose our deposit. It was very repetitive and actually quite aggressive. I think once would be enough

Response on behalf of the Owner: Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you found the Coach House good value for money. We can only apologise that you felt that we laboured any of the important information we give to all our guests when they arrive. As the house is so large we feel it is important to show guests around the property and explain the facilities, including the use of the outdoor areas and the instructions for safely using the hot tub and sauna. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay.

A fantastic property with lovely owners who really care about your holiday experience. The house has great grounds that all of the kids and dogs loved running around. The property is safe to let kids roam and play. The hot tub and sauna are great. The accommodation has lovely well equipped bedrooms and the kitchen diner fed and supported all seventeen of us. The log burner in the lounge is very homely. We had a great New Year party that will never be forgotten. We will be back!
