Really enjoyed our stay. A quirky house in design but that added to it's character. The hot tub was brilliant. Would definitely stay there again

Superb weekend. The accommodation was what was required and the owners so friendly and welcoming. Nothing negative to say. It's down a dark lane, but the owners loaned us torches if we fancied a late night stroll from the pub. Great hot tub. Highly recommended.

A great relaxing break - enhanced by lovely weather for the time of year. Spacious, well equipped cottage and very welcoming and helpful owners. Quiet location but within easy reach of interesting places to visit.

We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. Beds were very comfy and big! Loved the large lounge, great for dancing in! Garden is just gorgeous and relaxing, full of wildlife-owls, woodpecker, rabbits, squirrels and many birds. Hot tub was very welcoming after a lovely long walk. Will be back.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful setting. Close to Oswestry town centre. The only down fall, it could of been cleaner, lampshades very dusty, cobwebs and dust in bathroom and conservatory window ledges. Microwave wasn't cleaned properly, it doesn't look like the cleaner moves anything on the worktops in the kitchen as there are crumbs behind the microwave and toaster. Under the beds doesn't look like they get hoovered. Every time someone used the taps, it was very noisey.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments. We can only apologise that you were not happy with the standard of cleaning. The plumbers are booked to come along to look into the problem with the tap.

The Coach House was a spacious and comfortable, and well equipped as a holiday base. The garden and grounds were pleasant, well tended and secluded. The owners, nearby, were very pleasant and helpful.

The Coach House was lovely on approach but on closer inspection the house cleanliness was not of my required standard. The conservatory had old, tired furniture in it and the TV was a small box type. There were dead flies on the windowsill and downstairs shower was dirty on the lower bottom half. The living room furniture was also passed it's best and TV was tiny for such a large room.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you for your comments. We were surprised to hear that you felt that the cleanliness at the property fell below our usual high standards. We pride ourselves on keeping the property clean and tidy and have received several compliments on this in the past. We would like to advise customers that the television in the sitting room has now been replaced and two new chairs have been added to the conservatory within the last 4 months.

Had an amazing time and no complaints about the coach house. It took us over an hour to find and two local taxi firms which we used could not locate the cottage for one hour and twenty minutes respectively. Needs proper sign posts especially the fact that the postcode takes you to s different location. A large sign on the top road is very much needed and signs further down the country lanes advising which way to Coach House. Nevertheless, I would stay there again.

We had a thoroughly good time at the Coach House and would definitely recommend it as a peaceful and relaxing environment. The house is located in a lovely quiet area with amenities close by. We were very well looked after by the family that own it and were made to feel very welcome.

Nothing short of excellent - the hosts were friendly, helpful, non-intrusive and did everything they could to make our stay wonderfully stress free. They were also generous with their time, as they very kindly ran two of us to the village shop one evening and even went out to find four of our party who had inadvertently 'got lost'. Thanks Amanda and Graham, you were greatly appreciated. The house itself was squeaky clean with all amenities to hand and the beds provided a really good nights sleep for all (well, apart from me, as my bed companion snored so loudly she could've awakened the rest of the household. Luckily for the rest of the group we occupied the upstairs bedroom). There is a room well stocked with lovely toys and even two beautiful 'animal' robes for any children staying in the house. A large selection of reading material is provided in the beautifully furnished lounge. The grounds are stunning and this was enhanced by the lovely weather we enjoyed. There would no need to worry about your children playing outside, as it's a long way from the road. The six of us had great fun in the hot tub, behaving like 'Ladies of the manor', which we are of course! The Coach House is a great way to relax and get away from it all but still have fun without disturbing anyone. We are all keen to pay another visit in the future and I will certainly recommend this to anyone willing to listen.
