Situated in Gloucestershire, this property is ideally placed for the Regency town of Cheltenham, known as the gateway to the Cotswolds.

Located in beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, on a working farm with glorious views over the Malvern Hills, this detached holiday property is ideally placed for walking and perfect for exploring the numerous historic gardens nearby. Situated in Gloucestershire but lying close to the border with Worcestershire and Herefordshire, the area is renowned for its scenic countryside and outstanding walking, especially along the Severn Valley and Malvern Hills. The Cotswold Hills and the Wye Valley are also close by. The nearest town is Tewkesbury offering one of the best medieval townscapes in England, with its fine, half-timbered Tudor buildings, over-hanging upper storeys and ornately carved doorways, as well as an 11th century abbey. Discover the hidden charms along narrow alleyways where the eaves of crooked timber buildings nearly touch, or take a leisurely cruise along the river (seasonal).
Close by is the Regency town of Cheltenham, known as the ’Gateway to the Cotswolds’. Famous for its broad range of stylish shops, fashionable wine bars, award-winning restaurants (including Jamie Oliver’s) and the racecourse, home of National Hunt Racing. Within 10 miles is the cathedral city of Gloucester which appeared in the ’Harry Potter’ films and Beatrix Potter’s ’Tale of Gloucester’. Gloucester Quays is a designer shopping outlet set around the docks, offering various festivals throughout the year.
The honey-coloured Cotswold villages such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway are all within easy reach. There is an abundance of National Trust properties and gardens within 30 miles. Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon is just under an hours’ drive. Visit Eastnor Castle, the 4x4 experience at Ledbury, the National Birds of Prey Centre at Newent, Sudeley Castle at Winchcombe, (home to Catherine Parr, the last wife of King Henry Vlll), Hidcote Garden and Cotswolds Farm Park. Shop 1½ miles, pub and award-winning restaurant within 1 mile.

The "working farm " environment did not seem to exist, the only activity seemed to be the occasional wild life. The only contact with the owners was briefly on arrival. Access from the main road was tricky at times with speeding traffic and difficult to find on the approach. accommodation in need of re-decoration in some areas, however a pleasant enough place to stay.
