This cottage has an awful lot going for it, but some drawbacks. It is spacious and comfortable. The heating has obviously been improved since some earlier reviews as it was very efficient and the wood burner was lovely. There are two sittings rooms, one cozy with a TV, one without a TV but sunny and bright. The bed, sofas and armchairs were much more comfortable than most rental properties we have stayed in. Fresh flowers in all rooms were nice and there were groceries to get you started. However, the bathroom is very poorly planned and anyone on the larger side would really not manage. I was also rather surprised to see that several people had made sensible suggestions in the visitors book (coat hooks near the front door, provide drainer on worktop in kitchen, mirror over bathroom washbasin) but these hadn't been provided. Points which could be easily fixed. If you can cope with the tight bathroom it is a very nice holiday cottage.

shower was horrible and virtually useless, nothing to clean up with and cobwebs everywhere.
