These spacious holiday cottages, finished and fitted to a very good standard, have been thoughtfully designed keeping some original features. Set down a quiet country lane, a short drive from historic Bodmin, and around a courtyard where chickens roam freely, they have country views. A short walk leads to the station where the popular Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway runs to Bodmin with its historical jail, shops, restaurants and pubs. From the station at Bodmin Parkway you can walk to NT Lanhydrock House. From the cottages you can walk to the Camel Valley Vineyard to sample and purchase the local wines. Within walking distance is the local pub and the Camel Trail, a level disused railway line, with an abundance of wildlife along the Camel Estuary - ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riding. The properties are ideally situated to visit the North Cornwall coastal resorts of Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac, and Padstow - home to Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Close by are the South Cornwall coastal resorts of Fowey, Looe and Polperro, or take a trip to the famous Eden Project. A short drive away is unspoilt Bodmin Moor, Rough Tor and Brown Willy. Golf, horse riding and fishing are all nearby. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub ½ mile.

    Lovely cottage. A week in January is probably not what most people would choose because of the weather. However, we had a fabulous and relaxing week. The Coach House is perfect for summer or winter. Will be returning in the future. definitely recommend.

    This is a lovely, well appointed cottage. There is a small patio area within a walled garden which is very attractive. The open plan living room and kitchen upstairs are roomy and comfortable. The large bedroom is lovely and the bathroom is well fitted out with a large shower. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the position, just outside Bodmin meant easy access to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A very good choice for a short or mid term break.

    This cottage was one of the best we have stayed in, with quality fixture & fittings and comfortable 5 foot bed. Easy access for walking along the Camel Trail and local pub.

    Fantastic cottage, spacious and comfortable and would highly recommend, particularly for people with dogs as the camel trail is close by - a short walk from the cottage. The location is ideally placed to get to all parts of Cornwall. There is a couple of pubs nearby and the one in Lanivet does really good pub food. We had marvellous weather ( late September) so this also made our holiday. Would definitely return to this cottage.

    Stayed in August 2015. Well equipped cottage which acted as a good base for nearby attractions. Very cosy and comfortable. Cream was probably not the best choice of carpets for a dog friendly cottage though as there were a few visible marks from previous visitors. There was an outdoor area with bench and table which was good, but not very private as other guests in adjoining cottages used it too. Had a few occasions where we were woken up by other people's dogs barking right outside our window. Overall good though.

    My wife and I had a wonderful holiday. We found the coach house cottage spacious, comfortable, well equipped and well located. Steve, the owner, is pleasant and helpful and the wifi works just fine.

    A truely stunning little cottage that you just won't want to leave. Everything was very clean and it is well equipped. There is an old railway track behind the farm that is great for walking and the location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore Cornwall.
