The cottage is cute, but still modern inside. The owner very friendly. The views are lovely and despite snow we were toasty warm. An easy walk to the local abbey and good access to public footpaths. The nearest two towns, Shepton Mallett and Radstock are not great to visit, but Wells only a little further makes up for both.

We travelled from Lancashire to attend a wedding in a nearby village so we chose this cottage as it was only about 5 miles away - so glad we did it was late when we arrived and the cottage was very cosy and warm which was much appreciated after a 5 hour journey on the motorway!

The cottage was lovely and clean, and the main bedroom was very comfortable. Everything was provided to make your stay, including tea, coffee, sugar and milk, much appreciated after a long journey. Everything is as described. We booked this for 4 people, but luckily it was only the two of us for most of the week, as we struggled for storage. The heating came on automatically, and we should have asked the owner how to control it as it was too hot for us! It was lovely walking in to a warm place though, and there was always plenty of hot water for showers and baths.

A lovely, comfortable holiday home with fine views over owner's pretty garden and local farm's meadows. Anyone who loves to stay in the peace and quiet of a small hamlet will love The Coach House. Thanks to Judy, we found coffee, tea and milk provided as well as fresh flowers to enjoy. Surprised to find an hourly local bus service into Bath too.

Lovely location from which to explore Somerset. Everything we needed was there. WiFi too was a real help to plan days out as there isn't much phone signal. Only issue is on of the bedrooms is downstairs so we had to improvise sleeping arrangements for our 2 year old. No problem for older children though.

Couldn't fault the cottage. It's in a really great location so you don't have to travel too far to get to some really great places like Stonehenge, Avebury Bath or Bristol.
