Really great place. Very spacious. Kitchen had a electric oven and aga we used to cook a large Sunday dinner. The kitchen is really well equipped - plenty of fridge space etc. Living areas were very good. Perhaps not most modern decor- but that didn't bother us. Nice walks in the area. Shops in the village nearby. Would recommend for large family meet ups.

We had a really great stay at the coach house for mothers 90th Birthday. Equipment wise it was excellent with more than enough plates, cutlery, glasses and cooking pots. The aga was a challenge that we took on with trepidation but with the extra electric oven we prepared and served Sunday lunch for 18 with no problem. The house is very old with uneven floors upstairs but that is part of its charm. All the rooms were spacious and the house was very warm with plenty of hot water. The coach house is very old and some furnishings are dated but everything was clean and tidy. The 2 year old in our party loved the huge bath, playing the piano and having lots of hiding places with room to run around both inside and out. We wouldn't hesitate to use the house again and felt it was very good value for money.

Perfect for a group of friends with small children. Lots of space and not too smart, so could relax properly.

Well equipped large house which worked well for the whole family group to celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday. The only drawback was the Aga wasn't hot and so we had to rely on the double electric oven which worked well but meant cooking a meal for 18 was a little more challenging than it needed to be. Bedrooms were impressive with lots of space and everyone thought them very comfortable.

An excellent place for a large group. Not many en-suite rooms so some are a trek to the toilet. The fire doors are heavy and slam shut with a scary bang, so in the event of a fire you should be safe as everyone will get woken up by the banging. Unless the door severs a limb on the way out... Hopefully these will get adjusted to have a soft close by the time you get there.
