Absolutely beautiful property and location. We were provided with tea, coffee, sugar and milk so after a long journey we were ready for a nice cuppa so the owners were very thoughtful. Also found the villagers were very friendly after a visit to the local church. Got a local history lesson about the inventor of the cheddar cheese process came from Marksbury (their village we were staying in). A great location near Bath which was only 15 mins away. Use the park and ride if you are not staying late into the evening or use Charlotte street car park which is the biggest and cheapest longstay near the centre that we found it was £8.50 for twelve hours (no charges after 8pm). Overall we would definitely recommend people to stay at the Chapel.

A brilliant cottage. Converted chapel so well done. Everything you need is there. Really nice touches - flowers, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar and milk in the fridge. We stayed 4 nights. The beds were comfortable and the linen of a high quality - slept like log! Would thoroughly recommend a stay here!

A great location - 5 miles from Bath, a very pretty village but with only one general store, at the filling station, a good walk away. The house itself was beautiful, with a very sensitive conversion from its chapel origins. My only complaint is that the twin bed room was quite difficult for me, as an old person. There were steps down to the loo which weren't easy in the night. Of course it's probably intended for children, for whom it would be ideal. One of my daughters found the entrance to the parking area rather tight. Apart from that - great.

It was a lovely house, and in a good quiet position. The only criticism is the hot water was quite erratic, not always possible to have even a small bath. Apart from that it was very nice.
