We only came for two nights and wanted a relaxing stay and some country walks with our dog Lexi. The cottage really delivered- very dog friendly, beautifully clean and cosy and with all the home comforts. We were made very welcome by the owner Robin and the courtesy bottle of wine and biscuits was most thoughtful, as was the hand written map helping us to get to know the area. Well equipped with little extras, such as tea towels, toilet roll, cleaning goods etc. It was a lovely cottage to come back to after a day of exploring and the wood burner was extra special. Would definately come back again.

Comfortable and well presented, we enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect for visiting RSPB Minsmere, where we were lucky to have a really good view of a Bittern feeding.

We arrived on the first day of wintery weather, and unfortunately the boiler was having some problems, but this was sorted out immediately by the owner. Overall, lovely quiet location but very near to forest, heathland and the beautiful Suffolk coastline. Just what we needed - a chance to catch our breath over the weekend and appreciate what this area of the UK can offer.

Very comfortable cottage with easy access to local amenities. Very quiet and peaceful. The owner was very helpful when we needed some help but didn't interfere in any way. Would definitely return in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cart Shed, it was very comfortable and well equipped. A very good base to explore the Dunwich area with walks straight from the door. A quiet, peaceful location, but not far from other attractions such as Southwold, Aldeburgh and Snape. Framlingham Castle is well worth a visit too. Would love to go again one day, and would highly recommend it to those who want to visit the area. Our dog also enjoyed his holiday, with plenty of walks in nearby forests and beaches.
