Nice place to visit the Sussex and Kent, Rye ist beautiful. It is very interesting to go to London by train but is was more cheaper to drive by car to swanley and then by train and travelcard to Victoria Station. By train from Ashford it was expensive. The ticket prices for the castels and gardens are expensive too. The Cart Lodge was well equipted, small but nice. Sometimes it smells because of the sheeps. The Pond with the ducks is very nice, no biting housflys. The Iden Store with the post office in Iden was a very good tip from Lisa. Wifi worked, but you should not load Videos, because there is a limit and it could run out of data. There was a very nice Country Show one Saturday on Lisas Farm ground.

Good location for National Trust properties etc.. Bedrooms and bathrooms good but bedding (pillows and duvet) old and solid. Living area OK but settee looked as if it had 'been round the block', chairs comfortable - OK for 2 but suspect would be cramped for 4. Pleasant owners.

Our children , age 3 and 5 loved the setting , with ducks and sheep and an apple orchard. It's a wonderful quite setting. Ideal for anyone with children. The setting is a 2min drive from the supermarket which has a chemist . camber sands and rye are less than a 15 min drive, so easy stress free driving once there. The pubs in rye are family friendly and the food is great !
