Lovely cottage and really nice helpful owners. Downside is long potholed lane and draughty front door. We were there in March when weather was poor. It would be lovely in summer!

Apart from the long rutted track to the farm, the property was lovely. Great location and very dog friendly with the enclosed garden. The property was warm and welcoming and the owners left a lovely welcome pack with cakes, bread and milk. You do need a car to explore the surroundings as walks from the property are not easy. The Byre is very well fitted out and has everything you need including a lovely log burner in the lounge. Overall a great, away from it all break.

Nice cottage but remote location and poor access road across farmland...unlit potholes galore. Nearest pub and restaurant may only have been a mile as the crow flies but certainly not walkable with dogs, fast unlit roads. Good enclosed garden but front access a little crumbling and unsafe. Rear step a wooden railway sleeper off cut, slippy when wet...health and safety? Very cosy warm and quiet cottage despite not double glazed but would imagine rather drafty by bedrooms and hallway as stable front door did not fit properly. Was nice receiving homemade cake and tea & coffee on arrival.

The only down side to the cottage is the access track. It is in very poor repair with potholes all full length. Which has the potential to cause damage to vehicles. It is also without lights so driving back at night is not ideal. However, the cottage itself is lovely, it is peaceful and quiet and the owners are helpful and accommadating. It is well maintained and everything you need is there. We would certainly consider staying her again if the track to the property was in better condition.

We had a lovely relaxing stay here. Lovely rustic cottage with treats on arrival. Was rather close to the owners cottage just at the side but they were there if needed anything. The garden and stone floors were brilliant for our 3 large dogs. Pity there was no nice walks from the cottage but there was some beautiful coastline just a short drive away and lots of dog friendly beaches. Some amazing sunsets from the garden too.

Cottage was at the end of an approx. half mile of dirt track road full of potholes. Not suitable for vehicles with low suspension. Property was for sale so our peace interrupted by prospective buyers. Too close to owners/neighbouring properties. Cottage smelled of dogs. The two sofas were very uncomfortable and filthy as was the large rug on the floor. Whole place was rather tired looking with it being more shabby than chic. Shower in master bedroom was dangerous to enter and exit. Also health and safety concerns regarding, lack of windows for ventilation and exit in case of emergency, rear door step was a small piece of railway sleeper not secured to anything, oil fired boiler external ventilation outlet not in correct place. Could be a brilliant cottage with some TLC. Owner did say that he had lost interest in the business.
