Situated in rolling countryside on the borders of Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire, Saintbury Grounds Farm is the perfect location to explore the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Vale of Evesham. Located within 30 acres of farmland near the historic villages of Broadway and Chipping Campden, guests are tucked away from any hustle and bustle whilst the nearest shop, pub and restaurant are all within 2 miles. The three properties are set in newly converted outbuildings close to the owners’ 17th century Cotswold stone farmhouse and combine a character exterior with comfortable, contemporary interiors.
The Dairy (ref 30066) is perfect for either a romantic break or a chic country retreat for two friends. Housed in the old milking parlour across the courtyard from the main house, with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings, it is a light and airy space, offering guests an open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen as well as bedroom area and well-appointed bathroom.
At the rear of the property, guests will find the Byre (ref 30067), the perfect mix of old and new, the Byre is a cosy and characterful two storey stone property housed in converted farm buildings with views across the Cotswold countryside - just right for a relaxing break. Warm and welcoming, this two-storey, one bedroom property for two, has a fully-equipped kitchen, living/dining area and bathroom on the ground floor, and a double bedroom with a 6ft bed and large en-suite bathroom on the first floor. This room boasts stunning views across the garden and open fields beyond, whilst its sunny patio is just the place to relax and unwind. The Byre is the perfect base for keen walkers or those just wanting to enjoy a peaceful country break.
The Hayloft (ref 30068) on the first floor, accommodates up to 4 people and is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends. Calm and relaxing, there are two good-sized bedrooms and a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, perfect for coming together to eat and relax. The balcony brings the outside in and has wonderful views across the neighbouring fields.
All three properties (refs 30066, 30067 and 30068) can be booked together in any combination to accommodate up to 8 guests.
Located at the northern tip of the Cotswolds and just a few miles from the start of the Cotswold Way, guests will find a plethora of footpaths, bridleways and cycle paths stretching straight from the properties, leading through magnificent scenery to some of the prettiest villages the area has to offer. The owners keep a small herd of rare breed sheep and the grounds are a haven for birds and wildlife. Saintbury Grounds Farm is 30 minutes’ drive from Cheltenham Racecourse, an ideal base for racing enthusiasts. There are also a number of golf courses within the immediate area including Broadway, 4 miles, which enjoys wonderful views across the Vale of Evesham. Whether travelling as a couple, family or group of friends, it really is the ideal location for every type of holiday and guest. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

    Our week at the BYRE was wonderful. Situated in a very quiet & Peaceful area it was easy to completely relax & feel "at home". The standard of accommodation was indeed 5 * and the Owners Gary & Alison were always available if needed ( which they were not) as they had thought of everything that was needed to ensure that Guests had all they needed to have a wonderful Break. Many lovely places to visit within the area, and if you wished to just relax what a wonderful place to do so (no traffic noise at all!!) Worth mentioning that we felt completely safe from the outset due to the security & lighting around the property. Many Thanks for your hospitality.

    Gary, our host, was friendly and informative. Available to help or answer any questions but not intrusive. We had a very peaceful, relaxing holiday with fabulous accommodation and a lovely, private patio to sit out and eat at throughout the day and watch the sun go down in the evening. We had the same lovely view as we sat at our dining table. We found the bedroom and ensuite to be very spacious adding to the feeling of luxury. The showers were so easy to use. The bed was very large and one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. We enjoyed the quirkiness of having five windows in our bedroom - two in the roof and three large windows near floor level and giving lots of light and the same lovely view we had through the large windows and patio doors downstairs. We had a large television in both the bedroom and the living room for our use. It was very convenient to have a bath/shower room downstairs as well as upstairs as the shower downstairs could be used while the bath upstairs was in use, or vice versa. We found the Byre to be very comfortable and warm with thermostatically controlled heaters throughout the accommodation which were easily adjusted to our personal requirements. There was also an air-conditioning unit on the living room wall if needed. Gary had provided us with some lovely apples from his orchard and delicious home-baked bread, along with milk, butter and chocolates in the fridge. There was so much to see and do in this area of the country we felt spoilt for choice. The information booklet compiled by our hosts gave information regarding shops and places to eat locally. There were also copious leaflets giving details of attractions available in that area. This holiday accommodation exceeded our high expectations.

    Excellent place to stay......very central for visiting everywhere in north Cotswolds area we had on our to do list, and no more than half an hour travelling time. Very comfortable accommodation.......immaculate. Loved the super king size bed. Nice to sit of an evening on the patio and listen to the sounds of the country and watch the sunset.

    Stayed for 1 week June 16th-23rd. Weather scorching hot. Accommodation was first class. Air Con unit in the living room was a blessing. The property was clean, & had everything you would need including Super King-size bed, & wonderful views across the fields. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others.

    A delightful place to stay. The owners were friendly and helpful -but not intrusive. It was close to Broadway and Chipping Campden which are lovely places to visit. Beautiful Hidcote gardens are also very close. There are plenty of walks nearby with superb views. Even Evesham is worth visiting for the abbey grounds and river side; also an excellent M&S food hall. There were any number of good pubs in the area.
