Absolutely fabulous cottage. Wonderful position but as it says in the description it is on a working dairy farm - we did & we loved it. Owners couldn't do enough for you.

A fabulous stay at a lovely cottage in an idyllic setting. The standard of the décor and equipment was stunning with everything we needed for a lovely relaxing break with our two spaniels. Great owners and huge fields for the dogs to run mad in.

We had a perfect Christmas break at the Byre. We couldn't have asked for a more idyllic, peaceful setting and the cottage was modern, tastefully decorated, clean and very well-equipped. Our teenage daughters were delighted to find that there was Wifi access, a comfortable lounge with TV and a power shower. The kitchen was spacious and perfect for cooking Christmas lunch and playing board games around the large table. The bedrooms were very comfortable and our nights were warm as each bed had its own electric blanket. The owners were very helpful & friendly and they invited us to visit the dairy farm at milking time. They also gave us access to a vast field with the most amazing views where we could exercise our dogs freely. The local village with its small, friendly shop (which stocked delicious hot Scotch pies!) was just a short drive away. We would highly recommend this cottage to others (even though this means that we may have trouble rebooking it!) and we most definitely hope to return again in the future.
