Had a family holiday staying a time The Buttery. We chose The Buttery due to it having three rooms all with en-suite. We found the location lovely, not too far from shops and town but out in its own almost secluded spot. We loved having the local farm animals greet us some mornings. Waking up to a cow looking at you over the garden fence was really quite something. The enclosed garden was a decent size, complete with BBQ and there were basic things provided for when we got there before our shop arrived. The layout of The Buttery was fantastic, open plan yet the kitchen and dining area still remained partially a room by itself. The only downside to it we found was that everything echoed so even if we crept around anyone sleeping upstairs could still hear us. We figure plasterboard was the only thing separating each room upstairs. Also the double and twin room located next to each other had gaps between the wall and then ceiling, meaning that when occupants of one room wished to sleep, they couldn't because the light from the room next door kept flooding in. Other than that it was a lovely stay. Very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay at The Buttery. Loads of space, really comfy and perfect for exploring. If there was one complaint it would be 'can we have an oven glove please?'. But that's it. Perfect.

Comfortable, well equipped barn convertion. Quirky 3 bedrooms with separate stairs to each. Within easy reach of Ledbury and Hereford. Most of all it takes our two Skye terriers.

The Buttery is part of a recently converted barn complex in central Herefordshire, well placed for most attractions. It is well furnished and well equipped, although we recommend you bring ear plugs as the walls between rooms are not remotely soundproof. The views are lovely, although the sheep in the next field can be noisy, and their presence means that the dog needs to be on a lead for walks. If you have children, Eastnor castle is just the ticket.

Cottage was great for 3 couples sharing for long weekend. We left some feedback on a few minor things that would improve comfort such a few extra hooks and shelves.
