Absolutely the best cottage we have stayed in so far, beautifully presented and in such a calm and peaceful setting. Perfectly situated for visiting the Cotswolds, Bath, Westonbirt Arboretum etc, the nearby town of Malmesbury is lovely and well worth a visit. We highly recommend the cottage, thank you for a lovely holiday.

Lovely quiet cottage with high standard of decoration. Very nice owners on hand for information but not intrusive. Good food in nearby pubs and restaurants.

Lovely friendly owner's, non intrusive but happy to chat. The cottage had everything and more, therefore not needing to bring a thing if you didn't want too.Had your own little courtyard to sit out on the gorgeous days with a glass of wine.Lovely pretty grounds to wander. You would need a car to get about, supermarket and restaurants 10 mins drive away.Ideal location for visiting cotswolds.A handbook tells you all you need to know, ie local shops, restaurants, emergency services etc.Loads of info for visiting the areas. The little touches of home made cake on arrival, along with fresh eggs, bowl of fruit and milk in the fridge, tells you how generous the owners are.Our first cottage experience, which i think it will be hard to beat this place with all that it offers.Would definately stay again.Thank you both for everything. Will try and grow the lemon cucumber and aubergines next year!!

It was an enjoyable break at the Bothy.... all comforts home in the middle of country side. The Cotswold and Wiltshire offered plenty of places of interest and all within driving distance and senior citizen compatible. Our hosts were very friendly. The fruits and the cake were very much appreciated. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of information about what to do and where to go and eat etc. Only wish the weather was a bit kinder. Thank you.

In a nutshell The Bothy is furnished and equipped as a home not a holiday let. All the bits and pieces you usually take for the kitchen (just in case) were there including hand soap, fairy, cloths and washing up pads, plus much more. Toiletries were also provided in both bathrooms, you definitely won't need toilet rolls. The owners, Kate and Peter were superb hosts throughout our stay and we were invited to wander there beautiful garden which included a lily pond. There was also a large bowl of fruit, a delicious cake and milk in the fridge. We are regular cottage renters and simply don't recall another let scoring as highly as The Bothy.

Lovely stay in a great cottage. We were made very welcome and would recommend it to anyone. We enjoyed reading the books and playing the Cd's and games provided. The chickens in the owners garden were a real bonus and our little girl loved them!

The cottage is set in the owners grounds which are lovely at any time of year. Great care has been taken to ensure visitors have all they need and extras are generously provided such as toiletries, fruit and cake. The bathrooms and kitchen are of the highest standard. There are lots of interesting places to visit very close by and the Cotswolds are a short drive away.

Wonderful cottage. Nothing missing. 8 for location because we like to go walking and footpaths were badly sign posted but this would not stop us returning. The cottage makes it worth the extra effort needed for the recreation.

This is an excellent cottage and certainly one of the best we've stayed in. It's cosy and welcoming with extras that make it even more special - a bowl of fruit and home made cake. The owners are friendly but don't intrude being on hand if needed.
