Lovely clean cottage, nice people, great location for Avebury and Stonehenge. Good food in local pub. Only down side was no direct access to the garden from the house. the gate was only a few feet away but it was no fun at 2am putting on boots and coat to let the dog into the garden. But would quite happily stay again but without the dog

Very comfortable and well equipped. The log burner was a great bonus as was the enclosed gardens for my two dogs.

Good location and walking area , well presented and equipped, spacious, ideal for dog and children with garden area. Had problems with understanding heating arrangements and getting wood burner to work effeciently.

We weren't actually on holiday ,just visiting friends & family nearby and this was in a good position. However, we thought that there was a lack of privacy in the kitchen, as people were able to walk past on the way to next door and there were no curtains or anything to the large windows. The heating system was so complicated to use, with remote controllers & seemed too much for someone who was on holiday. We are quite savvy with electronics etc, but still found it difficult to understand. A bit more info would perhaps be helpful.

Lovely relaxing location with all of the peace and quiet you could wish for. Easy to get into Shalbourne or Hungerford if you need anything, but everything you could need for your stay in the Barn. Will hopefully visit again.

This is a well thought out barn conversion. It is comfortably furnished and equipment is mostly good. We thought the Ikea dishwasher less than acceptable in its cleaning capacity. Several things needed re washing by hand. Clearer instructions on managing the stove upstairs would have saved alot of smoke but we appreciated its presence in less than normal early June temperatures. We did feel a bit exposed with the plain glass window on the right of the front door in the early morning! Perhaps a blind or frosted glass or a light and floaty curtain would provide a little more privacy? This is clearly a new venture and very nice too. I would give more long-term protectio n to the pillows with a second pillow case.
