Breakfast on the patio with a lovely view of Carrisbroke Castle . Owners extremely helpful. If you wish to explore the Island by bus this is easily done by a short walk and a ride into Newport Bus Station. The good weather contributed to a memorable walking holiday.

The Apricot tree is in a perfect place to explore the whole island, it is clean, tidy, very well equipped and has the benefit of having owners who live next door and are warm welcoming and extremely helpful. I will have no hesitation in booking to stay here again.

Apricot Cottage was delightful. It was spotlessly clean and fantastically equipped by the owners, who live next door. They welcomed us with the makings of a lovely cream tea to enjoy when we wished and a lovely whole grain loaf, locally baked. The only reason for the less than perfect score for the location was that the slope on the drive was quite steep, but the fact that there is a parking space provided was a definite advantage! There were plenty of leaflets etc of the amenities and attractions that the Isle of Wight had to offer, which we found very useful. I would recommend this cottage to anyone, unreservedly, as an excellent property to stay in.
